Some other government agencies like Ministry of Housing, King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, Saudi Electricity Company, University of California, The University of Queensland and many other companies like Earnest & Young and Atkins in Britain.

In the workshop, they discussed the importance of building solar energy research-centers and sustainable building materials as well as experiment field for testing and observing photovoltaic technologies and solar thermal technology in Riyadh. This experimental field to-be is supposed to feed the renewal energy projects in the kingdom in the required research, studies and specify standard operating procedures in order to execute the projects properly.

This research center is also concerned with reducing the risk rate by coming up with whole new solutions to barriers which may come across the execution procedure of the projects such as different atmosphere conditions which occur in KSA at different times of the year. It’s highly beneficial in the testing solar energy period in terms of solar energy technologies in order to become cheaper and then KSA itself starts to produce it and exports to sell it in the Arabian Gulf and North Africa.

“Innovative Green” is a specialized firm in research and the consulting along with green and sustainable construction firm “Alajlan Global” group agreed on building a joint venture company called “White Energy”. That will take the lead to accomplish all the required researches and studies concerning the production and development of solar energy and sustainable construction techniques in order to limit on the consumption of fossil energy “oil and gas” and the reductions of water consumption, and reduce the cost of producing solar energy.

White Energy is going to be in charge of managing sustainable development project, including its own sustainable technologies and research results held in the built environment. They will be the best practical actual application in the buildings and the environmental communities in KSA.

It’s worth mentioning that An accord has been signed by Alajlan Global with “Innovative Green” to build solar energy production factories in KSA.  With the attendance of Saudi Ambassador to Britain, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Trade and Industry Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah Saudi and Saudi Arabia’s commercial attache in Britain Fawaz bin Saad Al-Ghamdi.
